You asked.

We got answers.

Where did your name come from?

My hoomans had 3 years to come up with my name. They debated names like Boomer, Rover and Archie. And one day, when they were watching my dad’s favourite cartoon, Archer, it all clicked and they knew it was THE perfect name for ME (I think so too).

In case you’ve never heard or seen this show before, it’s on Netflix. Go check it out!

What kind of food/treats do you eat?

Finding the right food for me was a struggle after I developed allergies/yeast. My hoomans decided to move away from kibble and onto freeze dried raw and raw, and we have seen great improvements. I currently eat Big Country Raw and Open Farm - they’re both really good! I’ve recently swtiched over to raw and I am loving it! It turns out it is not as tedious to do as mom thought. It is quite easy to feed raw and we are learning as we go! I eat beef, turkey, salmon and lamb. I also get pumpkin, dried sardines, goat milk, and numerous supplements as well.

What my hoomans love most about freeze dried raw is how easy it is to use, there is no need to defrost. Though, it can get expensive.

One thing to know about me, I am VERY treat motivated. I eat all kinds of treats. That’s why they call me “the treat connoisseur”. I love beef livers, beef hearts, dried sardines, and most of all my mom’s homemade PB cookies (find the recipes on my Instagram). Some treat brands I love include but are not limited to: Open Farm, Hearty Heritage, Only One Treats, Benny Bullys and Bocce Bakery.

I am also obsessed with hooman foods. I beg for eggs, carrots, cucumbers, strawberries, bananas, salmon sashimi, white rice, Cheetos and most of all POPCORN!

Do you have any discount codes?

My hoomans (mostly my mom) love shopping for me! Let’s admit it, they have more fun shopping for us than they do for themselves. I work with some amazing brands and have some discount codes to share. The more dollars I can help you save, the more you have to spend for treats - it’s a win-win!

Happy Shopping!

What are you most scared of?

I am a little weirdo. Here’s a list of things that I am scared of:

  • Clementines - only the sour ones

  • Bananas - only when they are held at me like a gun

  • My winter jacket - only when I don’t want to go outside in cold

  • Dark chocolate - which is a good thing

  • Nose balms - will run for my life

  • Sprays of all sorts - not cool

  • Black garbage bags - will bark at them non-stop

Where have you traveled?

My hoomans are world travelers but they don’t bring me along often. They (aka mom) get nervous after hearing horror stories of frenchies and airlines. I wouldn’t blame them. They are also not sure what to do with me when they want to go visit places that aren’t dog friendly, and would feel bad leaving me in a hotel room.

This fall, I did get to go to NYC and had a fun exploring the city. A blog post is coming soon!

My hoomans do plan to go to Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, LA, and San Diego over the next couple of years and plan to bring me along. I would love to finally meet my fur friends!
