The Hooman behind Archer the Frenchie

Hi Everyone!

I think it is about time to introduce myself, the hooman behind Archer The Frenchie. My name is Valerie and I am Archer’s dog mom. I am indeed the one behind the scenes who spends what feels like a million hours a day, holding treat after treat, making high-pitched, squeaky sounds to get Archer’s full attention for the camera. This sweet, compact, little man fills my life with so much joy! Being his dog mom is pretty cool, but being his dog momager is even cooler.

One of the most common questions I get asked is if I work or have a background in marketing. The answer is no. I am actually an account manager in the tech world for accounting and legal firms. I started Archer’s Instagram because I didn’t want to be that person who posts too many “baby” pics on my social account for their friends and family. I came into this with zero expectations, no clear path and very little knowledge of how to successfully run an Instagram account. To be honest, I’ve learned everything (I still have SO much to learn) by researching, observing and most of all, asking others for help. I’ve been lucky to have met and know wonderful people who are so generous with sharing their own social media experiences and strategies. The best advice I’ve ever received is “don’t be afraid to ask, you got nothing to lose”. It is so very true.

What I love most about being a dog momager is getting to meet people from all around the world who share their stories and advice. I really feel like I am part of a community who truly shares my obsession with frenchies and all things dog related. I can’t thank you all enough for your follows, likes and continuous support throughout this journey.

With the new website and blog, it gives me the ability to connect more on a personal level with our audience. It also creates a different style of content that will allow me to share more of Archer’s life, products we love, yummy treat recipes and our upcoming adventures. We hope you’re as excited as we are!
